Ann Romney has the Obama campaign pegged.

In an interview with the Romneys that aired today on “CBS This Morning,” Mrs. Romney delivered a message to Team Obama: if you want to take down my husband, you’ll have to go through me.

On the Obama campaign, Ann Romney: Early on we heard what their strategy was. It was kill Romney…not when I'm next to him you better not

Rawr! Fight like a girl!

The intelligent responses began right away.

Ann Romney is an effing liar. RT @CBSThisMorning: Ann Romney: Obama's whole campaign strategy is "let's kill this guy"

— Tim (@SupermanHotMale) July 5, 2012

A liar? Really? Then why did a “prominent Democratic strategist aligned with the White House” say this:

Unless things change and Obama can run on accomplishments, he will have to kill Romney.

Hmm. Looks an awful lot like a “kill this guy” strategy to us.

But no, pointing that out and using a Democratic strategist’s words is raaaaacist!

#mitt2012 @annDRomney More red meat 4UR bigoted fans, that "spade" guy gonna "kill" my hubby @gopleader "a spade a spade" we're on 2 UR game

And just imagine if Sarah Palin — or any Republican — said something similar to what that strategist said. The Left would be frothing at the mouth about new tone and civility. Ann Romney didn’t froth; she fought back.

Mrs. Romney also shared her thoughts on the veepstakes and hinted that she’s involved in the decision.

Sheesh! When will this Republican War on Women end?

Ann on VP choice: "someone else that's gonna be there w/ Mitt…w/ the same personality type…also competent, capable & willing to serve"

Ann Romney suggests she is playing role in VP search. "We are looking" at female choices, she tells CBS.

Time for another round of VP speculation:

Condoleeza Rice, Nikki Haley, Susanna Martinez..? RT @Mosheh: Ann Romney says she would like to see woman as Mitt VP choice @CBSThisMorning

— Aine Kerr (@AineKerr) July 5, 2012

A parting reminder of what the hateful, misogynist Left thinks of conservative women speaking up about politics.

@mikiebarb The GOP will kill Romney politically if someone doesnt tell Ann Romney to put a sock in her mouth.
